2011 Open letter to our
Business & Industry friends
Dear Business & Industry Friends:
On behalf of the New Jersey School Nutrition Association we would like to invite you to join us and support our Child Nutrition Programs across New Jersey. NJSNA supports our B&I Partners who help us assure the integrity of our Child Nutrition Programs by providing us with quality food and non-food products with excellent service at reasonable costs. We endorse those B&I Partners who faithfully express their loyalty to NJSNA’s goals financially as well as through their time; talents and knowledge in helping us serve education daily.
Business and Industry Partners receive:
- An annual Desk Reference which lists all New Jersey Foodservice Directors who are NJSNA members, including addresses and contact information with email addresses when available. Business and Industry Partners are also listed in the desk reference, which is distributed to all member Food Service Directors, Business & Industry Partners, Area Chair Persons, and Brokers. In addition, a listing of all school foodservice authorities participating in NSLP is made available. This list includes contact information for the food service directors.
- A subscription to our newsletter, which keeps you informed of state, regional and area information; alerts you to changes in the school feeding requirements; informs you of legislative efforts, and acknowledges your company as a B&I Partner.
- Business & Industry Partners are listed on the NJSNA’s website.
- Business & Industry Partners are recognized at our annual vendor and/or any entertainment events.
Important Changes:
We have restructured our membership levels. Please review the benefits carefully since new options are now available.
A big change regarding NJSNA’s annual vendor event is that all exhibitors must be NJSNA members in order to qualify for the member booth price. This means that manufacturers can no longer be covered by their brokers’ membership.
Due to these changes, we are pro-rating all our B&I Partners memberships to reflect the new dates of membership. Please contact Jamie Leavitt, Executive Secretary for your renewal date. We are asking ALL our current B&I Partners to have their updated memberships into the association by January 1, 2011.
NJSNA is looking forward to having you join or renew your membership as a B&I Partner.
